Data

The MRCC provides publicly available data that originates from Federal and state networks. The MRCC is not the proprietor of any data, and the proper data network should be noted (e.g., NWS Cooperative Observer Program (US-COOP), Automated Surface Observing System (ASOS). A list and description of regional and national data networks can be found at /data_serv/datanetworks/summary. A list and description of state and local data networks can be found at /data_serv/datanetworks. For suggestions on how to properly cite data from these networks, contact the link provided at each network’s website. Citation of data access is not necessary but appreciated. For example, “NOAA Cooperative Network data obtained from the Midwestern Regional Climate Center, cli-MATE (MRCC Application Tools Environment, on /CLIMATE/”.
