Daily File Download

Daily data files contain quality-controlled temperature and precipitation data in one CSV file, while station metadata is provided in a separate CSV file. You can select stations by state or download daily data and metadata for all FORTS stations by clicking "DOWNLOAD ALL DAILY FILES".

When you initiate a data download, a contact information form will appear, and your data will begin downloading automatically to your computer.

3297 File Download

The 3297 dataset provides quality-controlled weather data for individual stations, with each file stored in .DAT format and containing a range of meteorological variables. Users can select specific stations by state or download all 3297 files by clicking "DOWNLOAD ALL 3297 FILES".

The contents and structure of the 3297 files can be understood and interpreted using the DSI – 3297 CDMP COOP SUMMARY OF THE DAY FORTS documentation.

3200 File Download

3200 files contain quality-controlled or non-quality-controlled weather data, depending on the station. These are the final working versions of each station file. Users can select specific stations by state or download all 3200 files by clicking Download ALL CDMP FORTS 3200 Files.

3200 files can be interpreted using the DSI – 3297 CDMP COOP SUMMARY OF THE DAY FORTS document.
